Projects Proposed for NY Forward Funding
The following projects have been selected by the Local Planning Committee (LPC) for inclusion in the Town of Richfield’s Strategic Investment Plan. These projects total $8,606,000 in NY Forward funding requests and will be reviewed by New York State. Project awards will be announced in 2025.

NYF Projects must:
Be located within the NYF Boundary
Be able to break ground within two years of receiving funding
Have financing largely in place
Must have site control or be in the process of obtaining site control
The Town of Richfield was selected by the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council to receive a $4.5 million award from New York State Governor Kathy Hochul through the NY Forward program. Investment from this program will allow Richfield to develop a Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and implement key catalytic projects to advance the community’s vision for downtown improvements.
